Our Service Offerings

Basic Obedience On-Leash

Our On-Leash program lays the foundation for a well-behaved and responsive dog. This program focuses on teaching essential commands and building communication between you and your dog.

What we teach:

  • Heel: Walk calmy by our side on a loose leash.
  • Sit: Sit on command. 
  • Sit Stay: Remain seated for a set duration. 
  • Down: Lay down on command. 
  • Down Stay: Sit in a down position until released. 
  • Place/Spot: Go to a designated area 
  • Come: Return to you when called. 
  • Release: Free from commands.
  • Thresholds: Wait patiently at crate and exterior doors. 
  • Address and modify unwanted behaviors.


In-home sessions and Board/Train programs are available.


Basic Obedience Off-Leash

Our Off-Leash program takes your dog's skills to the next level. It is designed to build reliability, confidence, and control without the need for a leash. Through advanced obedience training, dogs will learn to respond to commands at a distance, navigate distractions, and maintain focus on their handler, ensuring safety and freedom in various environments.

What we teach:

  • Review, polish and master On-Leash obedience.
  • Added distractions- walks outside, public settings.
  • Thresholds: Wait patiently to exit car.
  • Address and modify unwanted behaviors.


Prerequisite: Basic Obedience On-Leash 

In-home sessions and Board/Train programs are available. 


Behavior Modification

Our Behavior Modification program is designed to decrease unwanted behaviors and teach your pup new techniques.

What we teach:

  • Stop pulling on leash
  • Down Stay, Spot/Place
  • Basic Obedience- Sit, Sit Stay, Down, Down Stay, Heel, Come 
  • Common canine behavioral challenges that will be addressed: Pulling on leash, biting, jumping, chewing, fighting, separation anxiety, digging, barking, house soiling, running away, aggression, shyness, unresponsiveness, humping, pica, coprophagia. 

 

In-home sessions and Board/Train programs are available. 


Therapy Dog

Our Therapy Dog program focuses on teaching dogs to provide comfort and support in settings like hospitals, schools, and nursing homes. It emphasizes obedience, socialization, and desensitization to various environments to ensure dogs remain calm, gentle, and well-mannered during interactions.

What we teach:

  • Interactions around people.
  • Handling loud sounds and distractions.
  • Being touched and groomed by a stranger.
  • How to properly great people. 
  • Gaining and keeping your dogs attention
  • Reinforcement of training techniques 
  • Delivering praise 


Prerequisites: Basic Obedience On-Leash, Basic Obedience Off-Leash 

This program will take place in pubic settings. 


Agility Training

Our Agility Training program is a fun and engaging program that challenges dogs with problem solving exercises. It builds confidence, strengthens the bond between dog and handler, and provides mental stimulation, making training rewarding and enjoyable for both.

What we teach:

  • To walk on raised/uneven surfaces
  • Climb over/under obstacles
  • Jump over or on top of objects


Prerequisites: Basic Obedience On-Leash 


Drop-In Session (One-Time or On-Going)

A Drop-In Session is a flexible training session available to clients who have completed any training program. These sessions are designed to provide continued support, reinforcement, and troubleshooting for any challenges that arise after the initial training is completed.

What we teach:

  • Skill Reinforcement: Strengthen obedience commands and behaviors learned in the original program. 
  • Problem-Solving: Address any new or recurring behavioral challenges. 
  • Socialization: Provide controlled social interactions with other dogs and people. 
  • Handler Guidance: Help owners refine handling techniques and confidence. 
  • Location Options: Sessions can be held in a public setting of the client's choice for real-world training. 


Prerequisites: Basic Obedience On-Leash 


Monthly group training

Our Group Dog Training for Graduates is donation based and designed for dogs and owners who have successfully completed basic obedience training both on and off-leash. This program helps reinforce learned skills while introducing more advanced training in a social, real-world setting.

What to Expect:

  • Advanced Obedience: Strengthen commands like sit, stay, down, recall, leash walking with added distractions.
  • Socialization: Practice good manners around other dogs and people in a controlled environment. 
  • Off-Leash: Improve focus and responsiveness with increased freedom.
  • Real-World Scenarios: Training in different environments to ensure adaptability. 
  • Fun & Engagement: Interactive exercises and problem-solving activities to keep training enjoyable.


Prerequisites: Basic Obedience On and Off-Leash
